Plumbing Green

Green tips
1.  Turn electric or gas water heater down at the thermostat to save energy.

2. Repair leaky faucets & stools to conserve our water resources.

3. Older toilets use any where from 3 to 5 gallons per flush. Newer toilets use 1.6 gallons per flush. That saves 3.4 gallons per flush!! This will save on a average 20 gallons of water per day.

4. Recirculation Systems provide instant hot water to your bath and kitchen.

5.  Having the correct water pressure to reduce wear and tear on the entire plumbing system. 60-70 lbs. pressure is ideal.

6. Have low consumption shower head.
